The international dance and folklore festival “Avaza – the land of friendship” will start on June 2 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
\nAs Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported at the Government meeting on May 29, the festival will include an international forum “K\u00fc\u015ftdepdi – parahat\u00e7ylyk wasp\u00e7ysy” with the participation of Turkmen and foreign dance groups, as well as demonstration numbers of this national ritual dance, a concert of dance and folklore groups.
\nThe forum will last until June 7 and will help introduce the peoples of the world to the Turkmen national dance art and ancient folklore, as well as develop intercultural ties.
\nThe Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.
\nThe head of state emphasized that on the occasion of the International Year of Peace and Trust, the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality, large-scale international events are being held that promote the development of cultural and humanitarian relations between Turkmenistan and the countries of the world.
