The Turkmenistan U19 boxing team has begun intensive training for the international season, according to the country’s International Boxing Information Center.
\nFrom March 8 to 15, the team will hold a training camp in Almaty, Kazakhstan, at the Zhanasar Center. There, they will train alongside their Kazakh counterparts.
\nParticular attention is being paid to the work of the coaching staffs. Coaches from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are exchanging experiences and discussing training methods. This approach helps improve the coaches’ qualifications and enhance the boxers’ technical and tactical skills.
\nThe camp will prepare the team for the upcoming World Cup in Bangkok. The tournament is of strategic importance: it serves as a qualifier for the Summer Youth Olympic Games, which will be held in November 2026 in Dakar, Senegal.
