On March 31, the Fifth Meeting of the Turkmenistan-UN Strategic Advisory Council was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Priority areas for Turkmenistan’s future cooperation with United Nations agencies were discussed.
\nFollowing the meeting, a signing ceremony for bilateral documents took place. Among the documents signed was the 2026 Work Plan for the project “Strengthening the Education System to Optimize the Demographic Dividend” between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Population Fund. According to the meeting program, the signing of the document between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and UNFPA was scheduled for the third section of the agenda.
\nTurkmenistan\u2019s Minister of Education, J.Gurbangeldyev, and the Head of the UNFPA Office in Turkmenistan, K.Goshlyev, signed the document. The signing of the Work Plan marks another practical step in the consistent development of the partnership between Turkmenistan and UNFPA in improving the education system and implementing joint initiatives with significant social impact.
