On April 4, Turkmenistan and Georgia have discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in key areas, including politics, economy, transport and energy.
\nThe issue was reviewed during a meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Alexander Khvtisiashvili.
\nDuring the talks, both sides underlined the importance of further developing strategic partnership and emphasized the role of mutual high-level visits in strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
\nThe parties also reviewed issues related to the legal framework of bilateral relations, stressing the need to further improve and reinforce existing agreements to support long-term cooperation.
\nMeanwhile, Turkmenistan and Georgia formalized an agreement on interparliamentary cooperation in February 2026.
