The new season of the Turkmenistan Futsal Super League kicked off on April 13. Two matches were played on the first day.
\nEight teams are competing for the championship title. Three of them\u2014Kopetdag, Senagatbank, and Migration\u2014represent Ashgabat; two teams\u2014Denizchi and TKNPZ\u2014represent the Balkan region; and three more\u2014Farap, Gumrukchi, and Nesil\u2014represent the Lebap region.
\nAccording to the competition regulations, teams will compete in a double-round preliminary round during the first stage. Matches in this stage will be held in the Lebap and Mary velayats. Based on the results of the preliminary round, the best teams will advance to the final round, which will take place this fall.
\nIn the preliminary round, the participants are divided into two groups. Group A includes Kopetdag, Farap, Senagatbank, and Gumrukchi. Group B includes Denizchi, Nesil, Migration, and TKNPZ.
\nOn the first day of play, the teams from Group B took to the court. Denizchi secured a convincing 7-1 victory over Nesil, while the TKNPZ team defeated Migration 7-5.
\nToday, on April 14, the teams from Group A will enter the competition. The following matches will take place on that day: Kopetdag vs. Farap (5:00 PM) and Senagatbank vs. Gumrukchi (7:00 PM).
