\nTRT Avaz, which started broadcasting on March 21, 2009, celebrated its 16th anniversary and the Nevruz holiday with a special concert. Diplomatic mission representatives, academics, artists, and many guests attended the concert hosted by TRT General Manager Mehmet Zahid Sobac\u0131. The ‘TRT Avaz 16th Year and Nevruz Special Concert,’ where leading artists from the Turkic world and TRT artists took the stage, was also broadcast live on TRT Avaz screens.
\nBefore the concert, the traditional ritual of the Nevruz Festival, which is accepted as the beginning of the new year and the harbinger of spring in the T\u00fcrkiye geography, the jumping over the fire ceremony was held.
