The Turkmenistan national kickboxing team won 14 medals at the 1st Thailand Kickboxing World Cup 2025 tournament held in Bangkok. This was reported by the Kickboxing Federation of Turkmenistan.
\nThe competition, held from 7th to 12th of April under the auspices of the World Association of Kickboxing Organisations (WAKO), brought together about 800 athletes from almost 40 countries. Kickboxers competed in the disciplines of \u00abFull Contact\u00bb, \u00abLow Kick\u00bb, \u00abK-1\u00bb, \u00abKick Light\u00bb, \u00abLight Contact\u00bb and \u00abPoint Fighting\u00bb.
\nOur country was represented by 13 athletes under the leadership of the head coach of the national kickboxing team of Turkmenistan Orazmuhammet Komekov.
\nAs a result, our kickboxers managed to win 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals at these competitions. In the team competition they took 8th place.
