On May 15, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania, in cooperation with the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploie\u0219ti, held an international conference titled \u201c30 years of Turkmenistan\u2019s Neutrality \u2013 contribution to peace and trust.\u201d The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan\u2019s permanent neutrality and the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.
\nThe conference was attended by diplomats, scholars, and students to discuss the role of neutrality in promoting peace and sustainable development. Welcoming remarks were delivered by the Rector of the University, Professor Alin Dini\u021b\u0103, and the State Secretary of the Romanian Ministry of Energy, Pavel Casian Ni\u021bulescu, who emphasized the importance of energy cooperation.
\nThe keynote speech was delivered by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania Annamammet Annayev. He highlighted Turkmenistan\u2019s foreign policy priorities and underlined the importance of permanent neutrality as the foundation of peaceful diplomacy and a model of responsible international behavior.
\nDuring the conference, special attention was given to economic aspects, including the \u201cCaspian Sea \u2013 Black Sea\u201d transport corridor project.
