As one of the key requirements of the educational reforms initiated by our esteemed President, comprehensive efforts are being successfully implemented to improve the quality of subject teaching in general education schools, to develop students\u2019 natural talents and abilities, to nurture forward-thinking youth with broad worldviews, to encourage them to engage in science and creativity, and to guide them toward future professions. In this direction, various competitions are organized, and broad opportunities are created for students to participate in international subject olympiads.
\nFrom May 4 to 12, 2025, the 25th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO-2025) was held in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; from May 5 to 13, the 59th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad took place in Belo Horizonte, Federative Republic of Brazil; and from May 7 to 13, the 3rd Al-Khwarizmi International Mathematics and Informatics Olympiad was held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. School students from Turkmenistan participated in these olympiads, performed successfully, and won prizes.
\nAs a result of the International Physics Olympiad, Mehriban Kakamyradova, a 12th-grade student from School No. 5 of Wekilbazar etrap in Mary velayat, won a silver medal. Jumadurdy Nuryyev, an 11th-grade student at the Saparmurat Turkmenbashy Specialized School in Ashgabat, and Dowlet Annamyradov, an 11th-grade student from School No. 43 in Shatlyk, Sakar\u00e7\u00e4ge etrap, Mary velayat, received incentive prizes.
\nIn the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, Rustem Jumayev, an 11th-grade student from the same Ashgabat school, won a silver medal. His classmates Diyar Dowletov (11th grade), A\u00fdg\u00fcl Atajanowa (12th grade), and Jeren Akmyradowa (12th grade) won bronze medals.
\nIn the 3rd Al-Khwarizmi International Mathematics and Informatics Olympiad, our talented students won a total of 12 medals: 1 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze. In mathematics:
\nHemra Gurbanow, a 9th-grade student at Ashgabat’s Specialized School No. 86, won a gold medal.
\nYusuf Resulow, a 9th-grade student from School No. 87, and Omar Dowranow, a 9th-grade student from School No. 83, earned silver medals.
\nBronze medals were awarded to Serdar Nazarowezew and Akmyrat Akmyradow (8th grade, School No. 86), \u00dde\u0148i\u015f Akm\u00e4mmedow and Ataba\u00fd Akmyradow (9th grade, School No. 86), Azat Nepesow (8th grade, School No. 87), R\u00f6w\u015fen Se\u00fditkuly\u00fdew (9th grade, School No. 40 in \u00ddol\u00f6ten etrap, Mary velayat), and Mekan D\u00f6wlet\u00fdarow (9th grade, School No. 29 in Da\u015foguz city).
\nIn informatics:
\nKasym K\u00f6\u00e7ekow, a 9th-grade student from School No. 86, won a silver medal.
\nAkmuhammet \u015e\u00f6hratgeldi\u00fdew, a 9th-grade student from Specialized School No. 135 in Ashgabat, won a bronze medal.
\nThe achievement of school students in such prestigious international competitions is a direct result of the constant care of our Esteemed President for the young generation. It reflects the success of efforts to nurture comprehensively educated, intellectually and spiritually developed, patriotic youth during the \u201cYear of International Peace and Trust.\u201d
\nOn May 20, 2025, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan held a ceremony to honor the winners of these international subject Olympiads. The event was organized in collaboration with the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, during which the students received valuable gifts.
\nThe winning students expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the Leader of the Nation, for creating such wonderful opportunities and wished our Esteemed President good health, long life, and continued success in his noble endeavors.<\/p>\n
