On May 27, a high-level forum entitled \u201cDialogue for Children: Central Asia and UNICEF\u201d was held in Tashkent. The event, organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the \u201cZamin\u201d International Public Foundation and the United Nations Children\u2019s Fund (UNICEF), was dedicated to the International Children\u2019s Day.
\nThe forum was attended by heads of relevant departments of Central Asian countries, representatives of international organizations and public associations.
\nRepresenting Turkmenistan at the event, Deputy Minister of Health Protection and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan A.Ovezov in his speech provided detailed information on the state policy of Turkmenistan aimed at protecting children’s health, ensuring their rights and creating a safe and prosperous society for the younger generation. The importance of international cooperation was also noted, in particular, emphasis was placed on the successes achieved in the framework of cooperation with UNICEF.
