From July 1 to 14, 2025, a delegation of four specialists from the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in a specialized training course on Customs Risk Management for Central Asian Countries, held at the Shanghai Customs College with the support of the General Administration of Customs of the People\u2019s Republic of China.
\nThroughout the course, participants explored cutting-edge approaches to risk analysis and mitigation in customs operations and deepened their knowledge in key areas, including the role of digital and intelligent technologies in customs inspection, the development of the \u201cSmart Customs\u201d concept and Single Window systems, practical functioning of the Authorized Economic Operator scheme, application of big data and analytics for effective risk assessment.
\nThe practical segment of the program included visits to key infrastructure sites such as intelligent border checkpoints, an automated cargo terminal, the Asia-Pacific Market, the Economic Zone, and other modern logistics and industrial facilities.
\nA special focus was given to regional exchange of experience. The representative of Turkmenistan delivered a presentation on the national risk management system, highlighting recent digital reforms and innovations. The presentation generated interest among peers and fostered new professional contacts.
