The 21st Kazan International Film Festival “Altyn Minbar” will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from September 5 to 9, the online newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports.
\nTwo films by the Oguzkhan Turkmenfilm Association will be presented at the prestigious film forum – “The Tree of Destiny” and the joint Turkmen-Uzbek project “Magtymguly Pyragy”.
\nThe film by Turkmen director Sahysalykh Bayramov “The Tree of Destiny” (2023) was included in the special out-of-competition program “Through the Prism of Memory”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The joint work of Turkmen and Uzbek filmmakers will be shown in the out-of-competition program “Russia – Islamic World”.
