\nAt the energy company Gijos, 80% of employees work four days a week instead of five. This model has been in use for several years. According to a company representative, reducing the number of workdays has increased work efficiency, and employees have more free time for family, hobbies and studies. However, some employees cannot take advantage of a shorter workweek. A fifth of the company’s employees must ensure uninterrupted water supply to customers.
