On September 2, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Mekan Ishangulyyev and the Mayor of the Erzurum Province of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Mehmet Sekmen.
\nDuring the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of interregional cooperation, including agricultural, industrial, cultural, humanitarian and tourism spheres. Particular attention was paid to enhancing interregional business ties in the field of livestock farming.
\nIn addition, issues of establishing sustainable contacts between business structures of the two countries, as well as prospects for participation in joint investment projects were discussed. Proposals were put forward to expand cooperation in promising areas identified on the basis of the competitive advantages of the economies of Turkmenistan and the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye.
\nAlso, Turkmen diplomats took part in the international Erzurum exhibition of agriculture and livestock farming.
