On September 15, the Eleventh meeting of the High-Level Working Group on the Caspian Sea (HLWG) was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
\nThe meeting was attended by the delegations from Turkmenistan (head of the delegation – M.G.Atajanov), the Republic of Azerbaijan (head of the delegation – S.A.Sharifov), the Islamic Republic of Iran (head of the delegation \u2013 K.G.Abadi), the Republic of Kazakhstan (head of the delegation – Z.A.Amanzholova) and the Russian Federation (head of the delegation – N.N.Udovichenko). The meeting was chaired by the head of the Turkmen delegation M.G.Atajanov.
\nDuring the meeting, the sides discussed the methods for establishing direct baselines in the Caspian Sea. During the meeting, cooperation in the Caspian Sea was reviewed and issues related to the preparation of the next meeting of Foreign Ministers were considered.
\nIn addition, the parties considered the creation of a working group of the Caspian states on the shallowing of the Caspian Sea.
