Gurbangeldiyev, met with a delegation led by Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, Chief Secretary for Political Affairs to the Prime Minister of Malaysia. \nThe Minister of Education of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to the Malaysian delegation for participating in the international exhibition and scientific conference titled \u201cHealth Care, Education and Sports in the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State\u201d, as well as for visiting to become more familiar with Turkmenistan\u2019s higher educational institutions. He expressed confidence that this visit would create new opportunities for developing educational relations between the two nations.
\nIn turn, Shamsul Iskandar thanked the Minister for the invitation to take part in the international exhibition and scientific conference. He emphasized the great potential for cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia in the field of education and presented several proposals aimed at strengthening this partnership.
