On October 22\u201323, 2025, the World Trade Organization (WTO) headquarters in Geneva hosted a high-level forum, “The CAREC Region and the Multilateral Trading System: Deepening Integration in Central Asia and Beyond,” organized by the WTO jointly with the Asian Development Bank (ADB).<\/p>\n
A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy B. Yalakov, participated in the event.<\/p>\n
In his speech, B. Yalakov emphasized the importance of Turkmenistan’s gradual integration into the multilateral trading system, noting the priority of harmonizing national legislation with WTO norms and strengthening regional cooperation to expand trade and economic ties.<\/p>\n
