On October 28, the news agency The Gulf Observer and the Gulf Observer Research Forum, jointly with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan, held a roundtable conference to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan\u2019s Neutrality in the International Year of Peace and Trust 2025.
\nThe event was held under the moderation of Muhammad Ali Pasha, a representative of The Gulf Observer.
\nThe roundtable featured the UN Resident Coordinator in Pakistan, Mohamed Yahya, as well as experienced Pakistani journalists and experts, and representatives from several Pakistani think tanks and news agencies. The speakers praised the foreign policy of Neutral Turkmenistan, which serves as an example of a constructive approach to strengthening peace, trust, and mutual understanding among peoples in the region and around the world.
\nThe participants noted that, guided by the strategic vision of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan continues to pursue a consistent peaceful course aimed at fostering dialogue, preventing conflicts and supporting sustainable development.
\nAmbassador of Turkmenistan A.Movlamov spoke about the path that Neutral Turkmenistan has travelled over the past 30 years and the international events that the country is hosting in the “Year of Peace and Trust \u2013 2025.”
