The countries of Central Asia have taken an important step toward expanding educational and professional cooperation. Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan have signed an agreement establishing the mutual recognition of higher education diplomas, according to the Central Asian International Information Center.
\nThe document ensures direct recognition of qualifications obtained from accredited universities in these countries, eliminating bureaucratic obstacles and facilitating the movement of specialists within the region.
\nThanks to this agreement, graduates will be able to freely find employment, complete internships, and continue their education\u2014for example, enroll in master’s or doctoral programs\u2014in any of the partner countries without the need to validate their diplomas through additional procedures.
\nThe recognition mechanism will be valid only if qualifications meet the common standards established in the higher education systems of the countries in the region.
