On November 21, the list of films submitted for consideration by the expert council of the Open Eurasian Film Award \u201cDiamond Butterfly\u201d was announced.
\nThe list of nominees includes the feature film \u201cThe Composer\u201d, produced in Turkmenistan, as well as the joint Turkmen-Uzbek project \u201cMagtymguly\u201d.
\nA total of 34 films from various countries are participating in the competition: Russia, China, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Venezuela, Cuba, Senegal, South Africa, Pakistan, Belarus, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iran, and others.
\nThe \u201cDiamond Butterfly\u201d award ceremony will take place on 27 November at Nikita Mikhalkov\u2019s Workshop \u201c12\u201d. Within the framework of the award, 12 prizes will be presented, including an award for contribution to world cinema. The winners are determined by the vote of the expert council.
\nThe nominations include: Best Film, Director, Screenplay, Cinematographer, Composer, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Production Designer, and Best Film from a Country Outside the Eurasian Region.
