The exhibition “World of Abstraction” opened at the Exhibition Center of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan. Visitors were treated to 150 paintings and sculptures occupying both floors of the building.
\nThe exhibition features artists from various generations. Among the most discussed works is Aygul Gurbanmyradova’s “Horses like Birds,” which conveys the dynamics of horse racing through abstract imagery. Viewers also noted Guvanchmyrat Khodjaniyazov’s vibrant composition “Family” and two miniatures by Merdan Paytykov, “Wheel of Fortune,” built on the contrast of day and night.
\nSaparmammet Meredov presented his graphic series “Artists.” Charymyrat Yazmyradov exhibited his work “Hope,” dedicated to the theme of expectation and change. Natalia Kalugina presented her series “Ashgabat Landscape,” which focuses on color.
\nThe exhibition also features abstract paintings by Begench Berkeliev and Oraz Agabayev. O. Agabayev spoke to visitors about his studies at the Fedorov Polygraphic Institute and his participation in the “Man and Years” exhibition in Moscow.
\nThe sculptors also displayed a number of expressive works, including “The Torments of Creativity” by Maksat Khodjainov, “Greatness” by Jumamuhammet Jumaniyazov, “Aspiration” by Abdymuhammet Oramadov, and “Students\u2014An Continuation of the Teacher” by Vepa Reyimov.
