The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan has officially approved the production calendar for 2026. This was reported by the country’s IIC.
\nThe document defines working days, weekends and holidays, as well as working hours that will be used in calculating salaries, vacations and planning the activities of enterprises.
\nNext year, the workweek will be regulated according to three schemes:
\n\u2022 Five-day week – 40 hours;
\n\u2022 Six-day week, 7 hours a day – 40 hours;
\n\u2022 Six-day week, 6 hours a day – 36 hours.
\nThe average monthly working hours will be 166.9 hours for a 40-hour week and 150.5 hours for a 36-hour week.
\nNon-working holidays in 2026 will be:
\n\u2022 January 1 – New Year
\n\u2022 March 8 – International Women’s Day
\n\u2022 March 20 – Oraza Bayramy
\n\u2022 March 21-22 – National Spring Holiday (Nowruz)
\n\u2022 May 18 – Constitution and National Flag Day
\n\u2022 May 27-29 – Eid al-Adha (Gurban bayramy)
\n\u2022 September 27 – Independence Day
\n\u2022 October 6 – Remembrance Day
\n\u2022 December 12 – International Neutrality Day
\nParticular attention is paid to reducing the working day: the day before the holiday is shortened by 1 hour, including night shifts, with the exception of continuous production, where work is equivalent to the normal daytime regime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
