Voting in the third phase of Myanmar’s general parliamentary elections has concluded, Xinhua reports.
\nThe final round of elections on January 25 took place in approximately 60 towns and cities.
\nZaw Min Tun, head of the Myanmar National Defense and Security Council’s information team, announced that the country’s parliament will convene in March, and the new government will take office in April.
\nParliamentary elections in Myanmar were held in three phases \u2013 December 28, 2025, January 11, and January 25, 2026 \u2013 due to the complex situation in the country.
