The Uzbek confectionery chain Safia is considering entering the Turkmen market. This was announced by the company’s co-founder, Bekzod Samigjanov, at an open dialogue between ambassadors and entrepreneurs in Tashkent, as reported by Spot.uz.
\nThe company already operates in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan and plans to expand its presence. Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan are named among the priority markets.
\nSafia has opened approximately 10 stores in Kazakhstan. According to Samigjanov, confectionery exports totaled 7-8 million dollars last year.
