The First Central Asia \u2013 European Union Interparliamentary Cooperation Forum has begun in Samarkand, as reported by the UZA.uz.
\nThe event is being organized on the initiative of the Head of State, proposed at the Central Asia \u2013 European Union Summit held on April 4, 2025.
\nIt is attended by representatives from the parliaments of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, along with members of the European Parliament, experts, representatives of international organizations, civil society, academia, and business.
\nSessions will address topical issues such as the state of political dialogue and its prospects, the green transformation, economic connectivity, digital security, inclusive governance, and the modern role of parliamentary diplomacy.<\/p>\n
