At a government meeting on April 24, Mejlis Chairperson D. Gulmanova reported on the preparation of draft laws of Turkmenistan: “On the Establishment of the Jubilee Medal ‘T\u00fcrkmenistany\u0148 Gara\u015fsyzlygyny\u0148 35 \u00fdyllygyna bagy\u015flanyp ge\u00e7irilen dabaraly harby \u00fd\u00f6ri\u015fe gatna\u015fyja'” and “On the State Registration of Real Estate Rights.”
\nIt was also reported that amendments and additions are being made to the Customs Code of Turkmenistan and a number of other legislative acts, and that work is underway to provide legal support for our country’s accession to international instruments.
\nTo develop mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations, representatives of the Mejlis participated in the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Istanbul, Turkey, and the forums and meetings held within its framework, as well as the first meeting of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian States.
