A law signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on April 11 of this year approved the corresponding amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses.<br \/>\nThe new provisions are aimed at protecting consumer rights and increasing transparency in the advertising environment. The law provides penalties for the intentional dissemination of false information about goods, services, as well as their manufacturers or sellers.<br \/>\nThese regulations apply to advertising materials posted in traditional media, as well as online and other digital channels. Liability is incurred if false information was disseminated for profit and caused significant damage.<br \/>\nThe updated article introduces a system of fines, the amount of which depends on the category of the offender. For individuals, fines ranging from 30 to 50 basic units are envisaged.
