International Investment Forum for Attracting Foreign Investments to the Oil and Gas Sector of Turkmenistan (OGT2022) will be held on March 29-30, 2022. The Forum is organised by the State Concerns \u201cTurkmennebit,\u201cTurkmengas\u201d, \u201cTurkmenhimiya\u201d and State Corporation \u201cTurkmengeology\u201d in partnership with Turkmen Forum and UK-based GaffneyCline.<\/p>\n

This prestigious event which will be carried out both in traditional and online formats aims at attracting local and foreign investments to the energy sector of Turkmenistan, developing and strengthening cooperation between national oil & gas companies of Turkmenistan and international partners. A live link-up with Turkmenistan\u2019s pavilion at Dubai Expo will also be arranged in Session 1 of the Forum.<\/p>\n

Senior management of leading national and international organisations and oil&gas companies such as International Energy Agency, International Gas Union, Gas Exporting Countries Forum, OPEC, CNPC, Lukoil, Socar, Dragon Oil, Petronas, international financial institutions, as well as experts who shape the future of the oil and gas industry not only in Turkmenistan, but also in the wider region will attend the event.<\/p>\n

The main topics for discussion will be the future of energy, the role of Turkmenistan in ensuring regional energy security, opportunities for new era energy investment projects, the role of financial institutions in supporting sustainable energy, innovative technologies and know-how and the production of hydrocarbons and reducing associated gas emissions and international cooperation in the field of refining and transportation of hydrocarbons.<\/p>\n

Presentations and panel sessions will focus on a number of key projects such as further development of Galkynysh gas field, joint development of Dostluk field, construction of line D of Turkmenistan \u2013 China natural gas pipeline, construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, chemical gas utilization and other investment projects.<\/p>\n

In addition, business meetings on the sidelines of the Forum between senior management of the national companies of Turkmenistan and international partners will \u00a0serve as a good platform for establishing a mutually beneficial cooperation.<\/p>\n
