The official ceremony for Kazakhstan’s accession to the Abraham Accords could take place in Astana in the near future.
As reported by AZERTAC, citing Akorda, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced this during expanded talks with Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
He emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to its previously adopted decision to join the Abraham Accords. He stated that these agreements create a solid foundation for regional stability and the intensification of trade and economic ties.
The President also noted that Kazakhstan and Israel have maintained friendly relations since the early years of Kazakhstan’s independence. Israel was one of the first countries to recognize the country’s sovereignty.
The head of state expressed Kazakhstan’s interest in strengthening cooperation with Israel in the areas of artificial intelligence and digitalization.
