The 3rd international competition “international relations culture of peaceful dialogue” was launched

On May 11, the 3rd International Competition “International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue” was launched in a solemn atmosphere at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This prestigious intellectual competition brought together talented young people and future diplomats from all over the world, as reported by the iirmfa.edu.tm.
At the opening ceremony of the competition, Gulshat Yusupova, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Narine Saakya, Permanent Representative of the UNDP in Turkmenistan, Zhang Jia, Professor of the China Foreign Affairs University, Director of the Center for Central Asian Studies, and Ulyana Mizerovskaya, Associate Professor of the Patrice Lumamba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Candidate of Economic Sciences, spoke in detail about how this international competition will make a special contribution to improving the skills of young people in the culture of mutual peaceful dialogue.
A total of 160 young people from 9 foreign countries, including the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, the United Kingdom, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as 24 higher education institutions of our country, participated in the competition and competed with each other.
The goal of this competition, organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is to widely promote the culture of international dialogue among young people. During the competition, students were able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills on modern methods of peaceful dialogue in international relations, the importance of the policy of neutrality and the complex issues of cultural diplomacy. This competition is not only an educational test, but also serves as an important basis for exchanging experience and strengthening friendly relations between higher education institutions of different countries.
