Kyrgyzstan starts paying childs benefit from July 1

The “Bala Yrysy” (childs benefit) will be provided to all children under three years of age, regardless of their family’s income, Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Kanat Sagynbaev as part of Open Office: Territory of Responsibility media project.
He stated that according to data from the National Statistical Committee, there are currently 441,000 children under three years of age in the country.
“The new Bala Yrysy benefit was launched in accordance with the decree signed by the president on March 8 of this year. The legal framework for payments is now fully in place. We launched an information campaign on this issue on June 1, and the actual payment process will begin on July 1. The basic benefit amount will be 1,200 soms,” the minister explained.
The ministry added that for citizens living in high-mountain and certain border areas, the benefit amount will be increased by regional coefficients.
