On June 10, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Byashimova and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Sasaki Hiroshi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation.
The diplomats paid special attention to cooperation within international structures. The importance of further coordination of actions within international structures was emphasized in order to strengthen peace and sustainable development.
At the end of the meeting, the commitment to further developing a constructive dialogue between Turkmenistan and Japan on a bilateral basis, as well as within the framework of international organizations, was confirmed.
