On June 23, the Turkmen delegation, led by Rahymberdi Jepbarov, Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, is participating in the OPEC Fund Development Forum in Vienna.
Held under the theme “Transition that Expands the Opportunities of Tomorrow,” the forum brings together representatives of governments, development institutions and business leaders from around the world. The 2026 forum coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the OPEC Fund for International Development.
As part of its visit to Vienna, the Turkmen delegation held meetings with the President of the OPEC Fund for International Development, Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, and the President of the Turkish Investment Fund, Bagdad Amreyev.
The participation of the Turkmen delegation in this forum is a reflection of the country’s ongoing cooperation with international financial institutions and development institutions.
