Students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University are undertaking an educational and industrial internship from July 1 to 10 as part of the educational program “Summer Energy Camp for International Students” organized by Khalifa University, located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as reported by the education.gov.tm.

The main objective of the educational and industrial internship is to familiarize students with the production activities of ADNOC and to study the experience of Khalifa University in the fields of education and scientific research.

During the educational and industrial internship, students gain in-depth knowledge of modern oil and gas technologies applied at Khalifa University, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the energy sector, research activities conducted in the university’s laboratories and advanced production methods. They also visit educational centers and museums, which allows them to enrich their theoretical knowledge with international practical experience. This internship makes an important contribution to the development of cooperation between the two higher education institutions and to the training of highly qualified specialists.

As part of the program, students will visit ADNOC’s production facilities, the Aerospace Laboratory, as well as the 3D Printing and Technical Services Laboratory. In addition, they will participate in short-term training courses on the topics of “Renewable Energy Sources,” “Well Drilling,” “Oil and Gas engineering,” and “Properties of Reservoir Fluids”.
