President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has made personnel changes in the leadership of the country’s cultural sector and media.
During a government meeting on July 10, the head of state signed a decree dismissing A. Shamyradov from his post as Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan for serious shortcomings in his work. G. Myradalyev, who previously served as Deputy Minister, was appointed the new head of the ministry. The president established a six-month probationary period for the new minister.
At the meeting, the head of state also announced personnel changes in the media sector. A. Khodjaberdiev was dismissed from his post as editor-in-chief of the Nesil newspaper for serious shortcomings in his work. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed Kh.Shanazarova to this position, also establishing a six-month probationary period.
The head of state signed the corresponding official documents during a government meeting on July 10.
