Recently, in order to successfully implement the tasks defined in the “Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052” aimed at improving the education system and preparing specialists with higher education. As well as introducing advanced methods and developing cooperation in higher professional education, students of the IUHD were sent to the city of Florence, Italian Republic.
This summer study and internship trip was organized based on an invitation letter received from the Florence (Italy) branch of Kent State University, United States of America. Currently, the second stage of this study and internship trip is ongoing. As is known, the Memorandum of Understanding between the International University for the Humanities and Development and Kent State University was signed in Kent, Ohio, USA.
This summer study and internship sessions for IUHD students in Italy are clear evidence that Turkmen youth are keeping pace with global science and education. Such productive cooperation between higher education institutions represents an important step in preparing internationally competitive, broad-minded, and highly skilled specialists for our country.
