The 5th International Ethnic Festival “Lifestyle – Cultural Code” has kicked off at the Kazan Center for Unique Craftsmanship. The large-scale forum brought together artists, fashion designers, and craftspeople from various regions of Russia, the CIS, Asia, and Africa, according to the Kazan International Center for Unique Craftsmanship.

During the festival, which runs from July 22 to 26, Turkmen artisans showcase handcrafted items reflecting the country’s centuries-old traditional crafts to guests and participants. Turkmen ornaments and patterns also found their way into the ethnic fashion catwalk shows, where more than 45 international designers presented their collections.

The event’s program extends beyond the exhibition and creative components. During the festival, an expert business program is held, dedicated to the preservation and development of folk arts and crafts, the integration of national motifs into contemporary design, and the promotion of creative industries.
