School fairs will open in Turkmenistan on August 1stAt a government meeting on July 24, Deputy Prime Minister N.Atagulyev reported on the practical steps being taken to prepare for the retail sale of school supplies.
It was reported that efforts are underway to organize the sale of goods needed by students ahead of the new academic year. School supplies and various textiles will be available for purchase at retail outlets.
The Deputy Prime Minister reported that retail sales of school supplies in the velayats, etraps, and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag are proposed to begin on August 1.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the operation of mobile retail outlets in the lead-up to the new school year should be organized based on a study of the population’s needs for various types of school supplies. Approving the proposal, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the corresponding work.
