The Turkmen Ambassador to Belgium visited the Stoeterij Ter Bosschen stables in Lummen, where 17 Akhal-Teke horses are kept, according to belgium.tmembassy.gov.tm.
During a meeting with breeding stable owner Simone Michels, the diplomat discussed preparations for the first-ever Akhal-Teke World Championship outside of Turkmenistan.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan invited the renowned Belgian breeder to participate in the upcoming event, which will be held at the Peelbergen Equestrian Center in the Netherlands from September 4 to 6.
Simone Michels accepted the official invitation to the tournament and confirmed her readiness to represent horses from her stable on the international arena on behalf of Belgium.
