Ashgabat will host a large-scale celebration dedicated to International Youth Day. The event will take place on August 14, 2026, in the capital’s Olympic Village under the motto “Different Contexts – Common Aspirations.”

The main goal of the meeting is to create an open platform for lively dialogue, the exchange of creative ideas, and the strengthening of ties between representatives of the younger generation from a wide range of fields.

The festive program starts at 10:00 morning and promises to be dynamic and action-packed. Guests will enjoy expert discussion platforms, engaging quests, interactive games, a spectacular mass flash mob, and vibrant performances by musical groups.

Admission to the event is free for all residents and visitors of the city. To emphasize the festive atmosphere, energy, and community spirit, organizers invite all participants to complement their look with a distinctive orange accent—a bright accessory or piece of clothing.

International Youth Day was officially adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1999 and is celebrated annually on August 12. This global initiative aims to draw attention to the creative potential of young people, their key role in the socioeconomic development of society, the strengthening of peace, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
