The International Melon Festival is held in Khiva, in an ancient city of the Uzbekistan, as reported by the UzA. This international festival is held every year annually in country. This year’s festival highlighted the opening of the Tashkent-Khiva fast train way.

At the event ultural programs, theatrical skits, folklore ensemble concerts, national costume displays, and melon crop and national dish exhibitions were showcased. Local and foreign tourists can taste the famous and fragrant Khorezm melons.

More than 1.5 million guests are expected to attend the three-day festival.
