The State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan has launched two online exhibitions, as reported by the turkmenistan.gov.tm.

One of the exhibitions, “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan − the Homeland of purposeful winged horses” is dedicated to the legendary Akhal-Teke horses. It features paintings and sculptures celebrating the grace of these “heavenly horses”—the faithful companions of the Turkmen people, their pride, and the enduring standard of beauty.

Paintings reflecting the traditional way of life and warmth of his native land can be seen at the second online exhibition, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the birth of Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Niyazmurat Dovodov. The artist’s paintings convey an atmosphere of genuine hospitality – from colorful portraits of famous figures of the era to cozy scenes of everyday life with bakhshi, the sounds of the dutar, and a bowl of hot tea.

Museum specialists note that this exhibition format expands international collaboration with leading global galleries and provides art lovers from around the world with an opportunity to become more familiar with the spiritual and material richness of Turkmenistan’s culture.
