A delegation from the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology participated in the 8th Science Festival 2026, held September 5-6 in Minsk, as reported by the turkmenistan.gov.tm.
The largest Belarusian popular science forum, traditionally organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, brought together leading researchers and specialized institutes to highlight cutting-edge technological developments.
O.Soltanova, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, and D.Porrykov, Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics represented the Turkmen school. The scientists presented the university’s innovative biotechnology projects, which attracted considerable interest from the professional community.
During the working visit, representatives from Turkmenistan held an expert exchange with their Belarusian colleagues and discussed promising areas of cooperation in genetics, breeding, microbiology, and food and agricultural biotechnology.
