Negotiations are underway to organize a concert by the world-renowned Colombian singer Shakira in Bishkek. This initiative marks a significant step toward hosting international-level cultural events in the country.
Following a series of meetings and discussions, plans are being made to hold this major concert in November at the new “Bishkek-Arena” stadium, one of the country’s largest sports facilities. The parties are currently finalizing organizational details and the exact date of the event.
Built to meet FIFA standards, the “Bishkek-Arena” stadium has a capacity of 51,000 spectators. The first major event held at the venue was the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games on August 31.
Shakira, who rose to widespread fame in the early 2000s, is known for global hits such as “Whenever, Wherever,” “Hips Don’t Lie,” and “This Time for Africa.” She is a multiple winner of Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.
Details regarding ticket prices, the start of sales, and whether the concert will be part of the singer’s international tour are currently being finalized. In addition, the master artist is also expected to perform in the city of Almaty.
