An official meeting between Oguljennet Berdiliyeva, Chairperson of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, and Satybaldy Dauletin, Head of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place in Astana.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues of protecting citizens’ labor rights, improving occupational safety, as well as enhancing educational programs and exchanging experiences.

The main outcome of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation, which laid the foundation for strengthening ties and implementing joint projects.

The visit also included an international roundtable discussion with ILO experts on strengthening social dialogue. Participants also discussed preparations for the International Forum of Trade Union Chairmen of Central Asian Countries and Azerbaijan, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat in November 2026.
