A flood in the US state of Texas has uncovered 110-million-year-old dinosaur footprints. Volunteers conducting research in the area after last month’s flooding have discovered dinosaur footprints that were previously buried underground. Experts estimate that the footprints of the ancient creatures are 110-115 million years old.
Paleontologists at the University of Texas at Austin say that some of the footprints have been discovered previously, while others are appearing for the first time. Experts believe that the footprints belong to a bipedal predator called Acrocanthosaurus.
