Boeing projects the global aviation industry will need approximately 43,600 new commercial airplanes over the next 20 years to meet growing passenger and cargo demand, according to Mexico Business News.
This forecast, released ahead of the 2025 Paris Air Show, indicates that the worldwide commercial fleet will almost triple to 49,640 aircraft by 2044. A significant portion of these new planes, around 21,100, will be replacements for aging aircraft, while 22,500 will cater to increased demand, particularly in emerging markets.
