International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) has begun accepting applications from citizens of Turkmenistan wishing to study at higher education institutions in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China. Admission is open for higher professional education programs (bachelor’s degrees) for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Applications are open to young people aged 18 to 25 who have completed a general secondary or vocational education and are fluent in English.
The admissions campaign will run until June 21, by which time applicants must prepare a complete application package. Providing certified translations of all certificates and references into English is mandatory. The Admissions Committee reserves the right to request additional information from applicants if necessary. A detailed list of required documents is available on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The most prepared and motivated candidates will receive special consideration when applying to Chinese universities. Priority will be given to those with international academic and language assessment certificates, such as the SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, and HSK. Furthermore, diplomas from national subject Olympiads for schoolchildren, as well as experience in international competitions and Olympiads in general education subjects, will be a significant advantage for applicants.
The key selection stage—an interview on the general education program—will begin on June 23 at the International University for the Humanities and Development. Applicants with the highest scores based on their submitted documents will be admitted. Interested applicants can obtain detailed information about available specializations, quotas, and accommodations directly from the Admissions Committee. The application collection point is located in Ashgabat at 169 1958 (Andalip) Street. Telephone (+993 12) 39-85-62, 39-85-25 and email admissioniuhd@gmail.com are open for consultations.
