The Days of Libyan Culture in Turkmenistan were held in Ashgabat as we reported before. The cultural event culminated in a joint concert by Turkmen and Libyan artists at the capital’s Watan Cinema and Concert Center. This concert marked the culmination of the cultural exchange between the two friendly countries.

The program featured a variety of pop numbers and folk songs that displayed the richness and beauty of both Turkmen and Libyan cultures. The audience warmly welcomed the artists from Libya, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
As part of the Days of Culture, guests and residents of the capital had the opportunity to become acquainted with the musical heritage of the Libyan people, as well as their modern arts and national costumes. The events held not only strengthened the existing ties between Turkmenistan and Libya but also laid the groundwork for new initiatives in the fields of art and culture.

— It was a great honor and joy for me to participate in this wonderful meeting with my brothers, friends, and relatives in the beautiful country of Turkmenistan. I was truly happy to be here and deeply impressed by the warm welcome, cordiality, and hospitality. It was a truly heartfelt meeting with noble people. I was especially happy to perform the folk song “Gyýma galam gaşlaryň” in the Turkmen language. In Turkmenistan, I witnessed a deep culture, a love for art, and spiritual beauty. All of this clearly demonstrates that culture and art can unite peoples and break down any barriers – linguistic, mental, or cultural. I hope that such meetings will be repeated again – between Libyan and Turkmen artists, and between our peoples, expressed his experience Khalid Alzuwawi, Libyan singer.
