On April 11, a ceremony was held at the Magtymguly Pyragy School in the Privolzhsky District of the Astrakhan Region to award the winners of a drawing contest organized by the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, specifically in Astrakhan.
The event was dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The ceremony was attended by the Consul of Turkmenistan, as well as teachers, students, and their parents.
The contest was attended by students from the 1st to the 9th grades. The young artists reflected themes of peace, good neighborliness, friendship among nations, and harmonious coexistence in their works, inspired by the idea of neutrality.
The children’s drawing contest was also held at a School named after A.S. Pushkin in Ashgabat, where students enthusiastically responded to the initiative by presenting their creative works. On the occasion of the award ceremony, a video conference was organized between the two schools, allowing participants from both countries to exchange impressions, congratulate each other, and share their artwork. This format highlighted the significance of the contest as a bridge of friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Turkmenistan.
The winners and runners-up were awarded diplomas, souvenirs, and gifts. Some of the artworks received special prizes from the Consulate of Turkmenistan.
